This stove works great. It is a bit heavy, but you don't carry fuel. The fan keeps the fire hot and minimizes smoke/soot. I light it with one cotton ball with vaseline and some twigs. This thing gets very hot quickly. It will boil 500 cc water with 18 inch branch 5 mm thick.

Bought this one for a friend who is always impressed when we use mine camping.. Yes its a bit bulkier, a little heavier, but your fuel is not packed with you,, it's anything near you.. It cooks like a beast , it's simple to light and it really will burn green wet wood snapped into small pieces and just dropped in. Just do it!! You won't be disappointed.

Used this product twice already. The fire burns strong and fast so have plenty of wood available to feed the fire before you start cooking!

I really like the stove as it is lightweight, you don't have to pack fuel with you, boils water under 5 min and it will handle lots of weight on it.

Good for extended camp trip. A little weighty but makes up for not needing liquid fuel. Intense burn. Don't forget to open the damper.

Q what about raining time and you can't find dry firewood, the fan is powerfull enough powerfull to burning the wood? thanks
A

I wouldn't be the best for heavy rain, but it will work better than one without the fan. Just do your best to stay covered from the rain.
