Used the Fly Creek UL 1 in snow packed, rainy, windy conditions. Worked like a champ.

Made sure to use the footprint when setting up in 8" of snow. Rained/sleeted all night long with intermittent 10-15 MPH winds. Mid 30F throughout the night. The Fly Creek kept me warm and dry through it all.

Having a single hubbed pole along with the permanently attached lines made setup a breeze.

No trouble with condensation or noise.

With the footprint and fly-only, I'm looking to have a very lightweight, yet study, summer setup.

after extensive reserach I purchased the Fly Creek ulI for my 3 month cycle tour of New Zealand..Dec, Jan, Feb of last year.. I was not disappointed...I quickly adapted to the small size and kept most of my gear inside the tent at night..This tent stood up to very high winds and some heavy rains..I never got wet and always felt safe..and I did not even use the guy ropes..You will not notice it in your pack, panniers or Bob Trailer..I did have to be careful with zipping or unzipping as it will catch occassionaly..Anyway, could not have been happier..super easy setup and takedown..shake it out with one hand..Check out the new platinum version if yu want a more bland color..slightly lighter also..but, pricey...This fly creek ul1 is a great product..

Easy to setup & very light...
I guess there's a price to pay for this - which turns out to be some condensation and don't touch the walls :)
3 days in fall weather (cold night, warm day) with lots of dew coming down - quite a bit of condensation build up - esp in areas I might have touch the outer shell from inside.
But still love the carry weight and decent room inside. More room for gear would be nice - but probably would get heavier..
