The Cave is the first inflatable geodesic dome tent from Heim Planet. Its inflatable geodesic frame offers the most efficient and stable structure, called the IDG - the Inflatable Diamond Grid. The IDG offers an emergency stability thanks to the patented Multi Chamber Safety System. In case of a defect the air frame can be repaired easily. Pitching takes less than a minute: Just take the tent out of the bag, pump it up and you are ready to feel at home. There are no parts to put together. It is not even necessary to use any guy lines to stabilize the structure, which is tested up to winds of 120km/h.

Simultaneous erection of air frame, inner tent and flysheet.
One-Pump System allows complete erection with only one inflation procedure.

Multi Chamber Safety System allows separation of the air frame in five independent air chambers for emergency stability in case of defect of one or even two chambers.
Five closable ventilation openings at the fly sheet.
Vestibule at the entrance area.
Round ground area offers enough space for three persons to sleep, plus baggage, or up to five persons to sit together.
Light and well-ventilated inner tent with no-see-um mesh and lots of storage space integrated into the side walls.
Entrance of the inner tent can be opened variably by two-way zipper and be used as additional ventilation.

Great tent, initial set up SUCKS

Like I said, this is a great tent. I love the almost immediate pitching when on site, there's A LOT of pocket storage inside and a removable loft for the ceiling for more storage. great for storm conditions

i have been in a few summer monsoons at lee's ferry as well as white sands. the heimplanet was great because it didn't break, just flexed with the winds. only downside was the tent leaked a little bit through the floor as another reviewer wrote. but i'll take a little water with a standing tent anyday. prior to this i had used a tent with regular aluminum pole supports during a...

Nice small, compact, but the floor…………

The floor material does not seem to match its description of ”100% Nylon Tafetta 70D 210T, PU(Polyurethane) 7,000 mm”. The moist got thru it's ground sheet and tent floor and become a small pot of water!! Then wet the met…… The outline, the space was very nice, but the ground sheet and tent floor material definitely need improvement.
