Developed for packability and protection in all-round alpine use, the Beta AR Pant performs with a high level of breathability and surprising durability. The N40r-X GORE-TEX Pro fabric is a lighter weight ripstop with complete weather protection. The seat, knees and lower leg are reinforced with rugged, abrasion resistant N80p-X GORE-TEX Pro. The Regular fit and articulated patterning gives freedom of movement and range of motion with room for low profile layers. A lace hook secures the cuff to a boot and 3/4 length side zips make removal over boots easy. The waist adjusts with a webbing belt for a secure fit. The Beta AR has rugged Keprotec instep patches to protect from ski and crampon cuts, and the Cordura PowderCuff comes over the boot to help protect the pant and seal out snow. A simple zippered pocket at the hip holds small essentials.

These pants are made to take anything a mountain can dish out, the fabric is super durable yet still light. Side zips make it easy to throw them on while wearing hiking boots. Best ski pants I ever purchased. This is my second pair and I also got pair for my son. Great all around pant (AR Athletic & Recreational). True to size. Adjustable waist, zipper fly. Zipper for ski boots coverup. Back pocket. I use the pant for skiing only.I do ski usually 100 plus days and pair held up 5 plus years. Never goes out of style.

I bought these pants because their was a mishap on the Arc’teryx Sabre AR pants I ordered.
