Great Backpacking Tent!

Got this tent so my SigOtter, dog, and I can go backpacking and have a decent sleeping space. The tent is pretty large for its meager weight. Split between two packs my girlfriend and I only had to budget two lbs for our tent which was awesome. The tent has lots of convenient pockets and a decent sized vestibule on both sides. Highly recommend!

Perfect but fly too transparent

Used during summer 2009 in Iceland. Worked perfectly and loved the footprint. The only cons is about the transparency of the fly... You can see the people outside (I hope they weren't able to see inside! :-)) and inside the tent isn't dark at all. So consider it if you need dark to sleep (in Iceland there was daylight from 4 am...)

Especially like that fly is designed such that when you zip open to access a door (there are 2), the door remains covered/under fly - rain does not come into tent when entering/exiting. Couldn't be happier with this tent

I love this tent. It actually has space for 3 people and two dogs, which is pretty amazing for a 5 lb tent. It sets up fast and fool-proof, and bringing the wall material up higher on the sides of the tent was a great idea it really helped keep me dry when we were getting dumped on in the whites.
