Product Info for Edelrid Eco Boa 9.8 mm Climbing Rope

A TouchTec version of Edelrid's tried-and-tested Boa. The TouchTec braiding process gives the rope ends (the first and last five meters) a distinctive marking and makes them tactilely different to the rest of the rope. This provides additional safety, particularly for beginners and especially when belaying longer routes.image

Decent Rope, Great Price

After only a week's use in Potrero Chico, this rope looked like it had been around for multiple seasons. I was shocked at how fast the sheath fuzzed up. Even though it handled well and the price was great, I don't think I would buy this rope again.

Boa Eco - Aesthetic and Effective

Your pretty standard 70m lead rope with a cool twist. Every color pattern is unique, and I'm pretty happy with mine. It's probably not going to be a rope that stands out well against the rock, but close-up it's pretty cool to look at. Can't say anything about durability, but as packaged it flakes out very nicely. Feel is slick to start.

Handles beautifully

Great rope that handles, knots, and performs extremely well without weighing a whole lot. Colors are really cool too. My friend and I each have this rope and his certainly looks different than mine. Love it!
