Ultralight Best Selection

Review for
Granite Gear Crown V.C. 60 Backpack
My first selection after reviewing several backpackd for ultralight hiking. I am amazed by its design in many small areas to save weight, comfort and back support does not been sacrificed. The back panel support is well designed holds the gear/weight close to my back without leaning to the sides.
-holds more than 60L
-strong and durable straps
Only drawback is the shoulder mesh pockets are too hi

Versatile Lamp

Review for
Snow Peak SnowMiner Headlamp / Lantern
Versatile use for any purpose. The lantern design is very smart and perform to bright the campsite or within the tent.
Just worried bit for the waterproof, cuz there is no resistance-rubber band around the battery door, unlike my old Petzl Tikka XP. SP claims IPX4 rain resistance.

Good Friction
Written on Sep 10, 2013
Review for
Metolius BRD Belay / Rappel Device
This is my third belay device and I was looking forward to its friction feature. So far I only use it for sport climbing at gym, the friction is good and I will advice to try a few different screwgate carabiner to fit to BRD. The downside is the BRD give slack is not smooth, also when I rappel climber it would lock even I try to press on thumb plate.
