The 'big brother/sister' to the Loepard VC 46 Pack, the Granite Gear Leopard AC 58 pack offers larger capacity and the more-rigid Air Current Suspension system. This alpine-ready pack works with the Crampon Holster and Tool Loops. Multiple shoulder strap mounting positions allows custom torso length setting.

I have always been a fan of external frame backs because I pack heavy. Purchased this pack to hike the Kalalau trail in Hawaii didn't want to check my external frame. This pack is very light weight load adjustment is fantastic. Air flow on my back is very similar to my external frame had it max out at 40# for 26 miles the main pocket packs very even. I've only had my new pack for three hikes on the snowy long trail, but it's already the best thing I've bought all year. It has tons of room for all my winter gear and it rides better than any pack I've tried on yet. Even full of gear and in deep snow, it rides perfectly and adjustments on the go are effortless. I was looking for a lighter pack than my Deuter 65+10 for 4 season use. I first tried the Crown, but the back pad pressed painfully on my lower back. I ordered the Leopard on a great sale and intended to alter the frame/back pad to make it work for me. Too early to say a lot, BUT:
-This is now my main pack. Looks very cool, extremely comfortable with about 22 lb load.
-Quality seems excellent. Pretty easy to change the strap height.
-A little cumbersome to fasten all the straps necessary to get in and out of main pouch... plan accordingly.
