These are a must have when hiking out in icy weather. Especially when you’re 60 and 70 but are very useful and safe for any age. Great traction easy to put on. We feel safer and are not afraid to go out hiking even in the snow and ice.

I have used my YakTrax in the snow and ice on the road for years and been satisfied, but this winter when I started hiking up in the snowy and icy mountains I discovered that I needed something with more bite. We ordered two pair of the MICROSpikes as Christmas presents for ourselves and our first impressions are positive as we look at the product in hand. Now all we need is Mother Nature to cooperate and give us some Snow & Ice to try them out in the woods.

The micro spikes are a huge plus when hiking in the ice and snow. Best use in day hikes with light pack and medium to strenuous terrain. I really love these spikes. The only problem was when wet snow packed in the front are of the spikes.
Questions & Answers for Kahtoola MICROspikes Traction System
I also wear a 10.5 and got the larges so they would work for my larger winter boots. They fit my regular shoes, but I would go with the medium if you are wearing lower volume shoes.

You'll find the sizing chart as an additional image below the main photo of the item. For a size 11, you'll want a large if you are referring to a shoe.
