Just what I was hoping for

We took this backpacking for 10 days in the Southwest. Easy to set up and held up in some stiff winds. The star gazing feature isn't a basic necessity but we love it! Packs away nicely and is very light. Caveat: I'm 6' and had just enough space to lay down - If you are 6'3 or taller I don't think the dimensions would be ideal for you.

I have not had too many tents. I used this on a canoe trip in Alberta, Canada mid-May. There was snow and such. This tent kept us dry and warm. Great tent! Set up is pretty quick. The color coding on the poles and tent corners helps. I like that the tent folds up onto a square sack that fits easily into my pack. I like the stargazer fly feature.
