I was really drawn to the appearance of these boots. I like the welted sole and feel the uppers will outlive me. I did have a blister develop on my small toe at the 2 mi mark of a 10 mi hike. A bit of moleskin saved the day and I was able to complete the hike. Upon inspection of the boot interior at the point where my blister developed I found that the Gore-Tex liner was slightly bunched up. Other

Not a bad set of trekking poles..Had one pole that would produce some vibration when "planted" but it was not a show-stopper", just a bit annoying.

Received these as a free gift from Campsaver (thanks!) Great support,comfort,and warmth. When paired with sock liners they are outstanding for hiking/backpacking. I own several pair of Smartwool socks. Cant find any negatives so far.
