If you are looking for a single person meal ultralight pot, this is one. At 900ml it is just right for a minimalist ultralight kit. The 130ml wide version is probably more efficient on a single burner ultralight stove as well. Having said that, and recommending it, I have returned mine due to the fragile nature of the thin wall titanium. Other reviewers, on various sites, have gone for this option for it's light weight, commenting that they are just careful knowing it's pretty fragile. After receiving the pot I determined that although my Sea to Summit Alpha pot (hard anodized aluminium) is heavier by a couple oz.it is also considerably more rigid and durable. I still need to be careful not to deform it, but it's a reasonable level of caution. With the thin wall titanium I could pretty much crush it in my hand like an aluminium can...literally. I am certain that in a very short time I would have a deformed (or crushed) titanium pot. In addition the aluminium heats more evenly than either titanium or stainless steel so for me the aluminium is the right balance of weight, durability and performance. If weight is your primary/only concern, the thin wall titanium pots can't be beat.

I'm 5'8", 150 with a 45" chest so I bought the large. Fits well. Good bit of stretch. The fabric has just a bit of gloss/sheen to it. Not so much that it looks like a disco shirt or something, but it does have a little shine to it which does not come across in the images here.

Let me say that my review is going to differ vastly with some of the reviews that claim some level of warmth for this jacket that is just not realistic. It makes me wonder who is writing some of these reviews and why. That being said..............
Nice looking piece, heavier than comparable down, but not extremely or excessively so. No geese or ducks were killed making it. No stitched seams in the baffles is good, but only time will tell if the insulation finds a way to migrate. It only has two hand pockets, which is less than desirable, but not a deal breaker. Perhaps they will figure out how to integrate more pockets with the new insulation and no stitch baffling. Overall I like the jacket very much (simple clean lines), but the lack of an additional pocket and the fact that I have not had the piece long enough to evaluate it fully get it four stars. Now, on a quite serious note, I want to mention this jackets real potential. The descriptions from Marmot, and on other sites (which often just copy what Marmot has said ), are misleading to a fairly substantial degree. This is most certainly not a " heavy-weight cold weather jacket." It is actually a mid-weight moderately cold weather jacket. One first hand look at it and you will know it is a mid-weight piece. Trying it on only confirms that it is a mid-weight piece (there isn't enough insulation & it has no hood). I don't know why they are billing it as a heavy-weight. Sure, it's good for winter hiking (walking the dog) or

It's a great piece, Patagonia, rah, rah, rah. I have owned a couple of synchilla snap t's, but they are both many years old. I purchased this lightweight piece to replace one of those old synchilla's. The old pieces I have are size large and fit well. I purchased this piece in size large and holy moly it wears like a tent. It is freakin huge on me. Great swaths of fabric hanging off. They had no medium available so back it went. That's all I got......peace out.
