I rate this economical tent a 4 out of 5

by Darron Fletcher, Gear Expert from UT, United States Written on August 1, 2018
I’m a big guy, 6’2” 290 pounds. This tent would have plenty of room for a young family of four. Good for car camping or for a couple that want lots of room in the tent for gear. I like that the tipi top has a mess vent and a rain fly. The door has two parts, a full mess ventilation door and a water proof door. I like the full length mess door for bug protection and ventilation. Heat and moisture is carried out the top of the tipi via the designed air flow. I like that my large 6’2” frame has lots of room from between my head and the wall and my feet and the wall. If you like a pillow like I do, you will like the extra room to put gear above your head for easy access during the night. I like a ventilated waterproof tent and the tipi design with its steep sides ensure rain runs off quickly and cannot pool anywhere and seep in. Setup is easy after you get the hang of it. Plop it down where you want it, stretch the floor out and point the door where you want it to face and stake the floor. Then insert the center pole and stake the guidelines out working from one side to the other. The lines are easily adjusted. When all the guidelines are up tighten the as desired and you’re done. Once you get it down it goes up quickly. The stakes are not very good, plan on just replacing them unless you plan on camping on softer rock free soil. This is not a high end tent that you pay through the nose for. It’s simply a usable tent that keeps you warm and dry with lots of room in it. As with an...

Most Helpful Positive Review An Eye Catcher
This tent is easy on the wallet and it's designed very well, especially given the name "Carnival Tent" for those who are looking to hit up festivals or large group activities. There's a good amount of storage room inside, 4 different gear bags and it's plenty roomy inside, if you use cots you could get 2 or 3 to comfortably fit inside. There's also plenty or room to stand up straight inside. The only downside I could find was the pole in the middle, you have to plan around, but that comes with the territory of having a Te-epee style tent.

Carnival tipi tent

by GoKayak, from FL, United States Written on April 27, 2022
Very pleased with this under $60 purchase..kids having fun with it. Stable but will put a tarp over it in hard rain. I also used bigger ground spikes that ar cheap at Walmart just to keep it grounded in high thunderstorm winds here in summertime Florida.

Very Great Wigwam Tent

by Vinzent, from IN, United States Written on October 26, 2020
Love my Wigwam, I like it can fit me and all of my friends when we go camping! It's also small enough to be able to fit in my hatchback and still have room for camping. Supplies. I haven't tested it in the rain but it seems pretty waterproof. Held up in strong winds and kept us warm.

Perfect for kids

by Tauni Southworth, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on May 20, 2020
I was worried because it didn’t come with any instructions....but I didn’t need any! It’s perfect for back yard fun. But it will definitely work for real camping. I bought for my grandkids to play in.

Festival tent

by Erin R., Gear Expert from UT, United States Written on August 2, 2018
This tent stands out as one of the cutest tents I've used. I took it to a local music festival and it worked great for a shady place out of the sun. It doesn't seem like it'd hold up to the winds and weather changes of an alpine climate, but it works for around town events and backyard camping with my nephew.
Pros:
  • stylish
  • fun
  • Unique
Cons:
  • Basic construction materials
Best Used for:
  • Car Camping
  • Kids
  • festivals
  • Backyard Camping
