The best
excellent quality. For the price however more line should be provided. You will need to determine if u want to use the thicker line or thinner reflective line and not use the line locks.

$$ but worth it
Nice tarp! There are several Dyneema tarp makers online, the question becomes which brand? Since no one seems to have owned all of them, and the prices are similar, it comes down to what size do you want. My two cents - get the longest ridge line you can find as the ends are where the wind driven rain is going to get on your sleeping bag. You can always tie the sides down close to the ground so width is slightly less important. Line is cheap, this tarp comes with some line but you will need more line to get 8 foot sections on ridge and 6 feet sides. As far as I can tell the line is 2.8 mm UHMWPE core guy lines, do a google search you will find it. the tarp comes with line locks attached so thread the line through the line locks then tie a bowline knot on the end that goes on the stakes for the sides. To attach to the poles I used a product called Zpacksâ„¢ Trekking Pole Cup. There are two rings on the interior of the ridge line of the tarp which are perfect for attaching a bug tent (i use a tiny carabiner) or to your bivy. Suggest whatever bug tent you buy get one with a bathtub floor. Dyneema burns easy, do not get close to a campfire with it. wrap some duct tape on your trekking poles for repairs.
Pros:
- light!
- interior rings
Cons:
- Expensive
- have to buy more cordage
- burns easy
Best Used for:
- Backpacking

Good flat tarp
Tarp is nice. Its hard to get a taut ridge line though, so thinking I possibly should of got the catenary cut ridge line instead, but probably not as the flat tarp allows many different setup and combinations whereas the cantenary cut ridge line is just one combo.

Perfectarp
The HMG square tarp is light and compact enough for solo use, but offers generous cover, without proving too much windage to deal with by one person. I used it two nigts ago; set it up at dusk, got turned off by noisy drunk campers nearby, took it down, repitched it in the dark, decided later it might rain, so changed the pitch to ensure better coverage. My only concern is the white cuben allows solar radiation to pass thru, so gets very hot underneath in direct sunlight. Great workmanship. Great product. Great (20%) discount from Campsaver. Only gripe is tracking of package international economy was only from Campsaver to SF PO, Thereafter it was international postage, without tracking that I could access. I just had to have patience, then it eventually arrived, in fine condition. Love it!

wow. Fast delivery...and bomb proof tarp
So far, 5 days set up in my back yard. The sprinklers are set for 10 min and I have successfully stayed dry during my backyard expedition.
The guidelines and stuff pack are a nice addition.
Great experience.
One piece of feedback. Please send me more coupons.

High cost for high quality
Super light, strong, and versatile flat tarp. Many tie out points, great camming toggles, useful internal tie points... expensive, but what a great product.
