Back packing Compass
As described. Ticks the boxes that I was looking for in a hand held compass. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a backpacking compass that covers the majority of skills needed to safely navigate in the wild

This compass is user friendly
An excellent compass for the beginner and advanced alike. Taking a beating, orientation of map, declination adjustment are all made in the simplist way a compass can. Practice and go on an adventure with your Suunto M2 compass and map and you will have a blast of a time. Just start out at first in familiar territory and then expand as you learned the simple techniques this compass has to offer.

compass
I have not had a chance to use my compass yet, but am looking foward to taking it out on the field. It came in a very timely manner and was well packaged. Thank you. Will let you know how it performs.

very nice compass
A very finely crafted compass. It comes with useful instructions. The numbers are clear easy to read. Some mirrored compasses are very large or confusing. This one is fairly compact. Only two issues that are minor. It would be nice to have some soft case or microfiber pouch to store it in. I live in a very duty abrasive desert environment. The other is the lanyard attaches with a small clip. It is supposed to remove easily so the compass lies flat on a map. It does not remove quite so easily for me. Also, the way the cord runs through the clip seems like it would slip out easily. Over a very nice, compact, finely crafted compass.

So far So good.
I haven't had a lot of time to use my compass, but as far as the aesthetics, it looks good and no issues so far. I am pleased with the fast service and the fact that Campsaver, matched a competitor's price.

Dependable and accurate
Iv owned this compass for around 4 years and never leave it at home when I go bush.
The construction is made from solid thick plastic and the mirror is well protected. I have not been the most gentle with this compass (of course I treat it with a degree of care) and it has stood up amazingly well. I also often keep it under my shirt (tied around my neck) and its been covered in perspiration on se
