Cant be beat. Cheap, simple and battle tested. Favorite, most valuable piece of backwoods equipment I own. Boils 2 cups in under 10 minutes nearly without fail.

As a windscreen it's only fair, but it makes for a pretty good pot stand, but be careful that you don't tip it over as you will have an instant fire as with any alcohol stove.

This is a good little survival / camping stove . My only complaint is the mini shield had a bent tab when I opened box and there wasn't any instructions on how to use the trangia stove and mini shield.

I bought this stove for my ultralight backpack. It ,along with the provided pot stand, pack down as small as a rolled up tshirt. It weighs almost nothing yet is strong and has a good seal to store unused fuel. The price cannot be beaten by another brand of the same quality. The only reason I have rated 4 stars is because the pot stand is a little bulky for the reason I bought this product, but I knew that before I bought it. Other stores charge extra for that piece of equipment. Shipping was fast and I got to use the stove on a hiking trip I didn't expect to have one for. A+

This is a great pot holder, not so much a windscreen. I've been using them for the Pepsi can alcohol stoves I've been making. A more solid alternative to hardware cloth, and less work too. Not its not as compact or light as hardware cloth, just more solid.
In most all cases you can use this nested in your cookset without taking up allot of room, and it protects a Pepsi can stove well.
I still reco

This mini-stove comes with the wind shield, that can hold a pan or cup. The picture shows a bowl, however, the bowl does not come with this set. Easy to use. Takes a bit longer to boil 2 cups of water, but works great.

I used the HEET yellow bottle. Took about 1.5 to 2 ounces of fuel to boil 2 liters of water.

This is a great little stove that works well in the wind and stores fuel inside it. Temperature can be controlled and the wind break holds it securely in place. Will hold a larger pot and weight than most of the aluminum can alcohol stoves.

I already have the Mini Trangia Cookset and love it. I use it as my preferred means of cooking on the trails.
I bought the extra windshield and burner to store in my GSI Halulite Tea Kettle. Talk about a great pairing. Man do I love it. Not only does the windshield and burner fit great inside the kettle but they also work really well together. So I decided to buy even 2 more, one for my 12cm Zebra
