Finally, standard windscreens at a reasonable price! Trail Designs' Classic Windscreen is offered in three different heights (nominally 4", 6" and 8") allowing you to pick the right size to fit your gear. The edges are rolled to make it safer to use, and they are a fraction of the cost of the big name brand!! The windscreen is designed to hold up over repeated foldings or you can wrap it around your fuel bottle for easy storage. (4" and 6" screens run 3/8" taller than nominal)

Works, plain and simple

Just cut it to length, and punch some holes with a regular office hole punch and you're set. Sure you could just use some flashing, but its only a couple bucks and has nice rolled over edges so you don't cut yourself.

I got the 6" version which is actually 6-3/8" by 27-1/2". Not as long as the screen that came with my Windpro stove, but will easily handle most small/medium sized pots. The edges are nicely crimped and you can customize it to fit your pots & stoves. It doesn't come with a 2nd piece for the bottom of your stove head - I'm using a round cut of BBQ foil for that.

Q Is this material durable enough to hold a pot on top while cooking?

This durable aluminum is intended to keep out the wind, though it will probably hold up small pots and their contents.
