First: we are car-campers, and we like to hang out in our tent in the evenings, especially if the bugs are bad (there's a port in this tent for your electrical cord for a reason). Therefore, portability is not something we really worry about in a tent. Bought this instead of an e-z up to do my cooking in and to second as a storage area. BTW, only electric griddle cooking so don't think I'm nuts. Everything with the tent went as expected. Easy to set up, spacious, heavy tent poles). But, one of the mesh windows has a defect. it looks like the mesh was exposed to heat or something because there are streaks and bunched up areas of the window.

I miss when the average screnned tent was canvas. Eureka stll has steel poles and decent stitched modern materials. The copper canyon is a decent tent for campgrounds with great headroom.
