After years of tarping, I saw one of these on the trail and decided to give it a go. Took it on an AT thru-hike and it didn't let me down at all. I broke down the constituent parts - poles, stakes, inner and outer - rather than use the supplied stuff sack, just so it fit better. Easy enough to set up, although you gotta be delicate with the poles as they could easily be damaged... Read more

I've been lugging around a much heavier two-person tent for years and was looking for an ultra-light one that could accommodate my 50 pound dog and me. Have used the Marmot eos 1p tent for years...this one adds a little height and width for head room, a little lighter weight (= less durable?). Like the green blend-in color. Ready to try it out! Has holder for light at top. Wish it included the footprint at this price!

This is a great tent ! Other manufacturers make great tents as well, but the style and colors of this tent makes it stand out over others. The simplicity of it's design and ease of set up is a good reason for purchasing this tent.The two pole configuration ( X- design ) with "Easy Pitch" clips keep to the basic tradition of free standing tents, not like other tents that may us...
