Shipping was SLOW but I knew that when I ordered it. Still $400 pack at 1/2 price hard to pass up. Fits great right out of the box, couple minor adjustments. Super light compared to my old pack. Waiting for the weather to improve to actually use it.

But after more research I learned that Gregory identified the issue as a manufacturing fault in one batch and fixed the issue on all future bags. Comfortable and roomy, great pack!

So far, I've used this pack for week long excursions with my scout troop. As a leader, I usually end up carrying a lot more than I'd like to and the Palisade handles it comfortably. Solid, high load/volume pack

If you need a big pack, put this one on your tryout list. I've used it for weeklong trips in Yellowstone and Grand Canyon, plus some overnight mountaineering trips. I can't imagine a more comfortable way to carry a 50 lb load on your back, and my guess is the Palisade can handle even more with ease.The suspension works extremely well. Great Backpack

This backpack was as comfortable as when I was searching for the right backpack. I ended up with a large so this backpack is 5300 cu. in. [...]. Went 9 miles up and down 3 mountains and never felt like I had 35 lbs on my back. Fit nice and snug on my hips and against my back. My friend ended up buying one and feels the same way. Just a great and comfortable backpack.
